Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Contracts Administrator to join our team in Dubai. This role involves overseeing contracts and ensuring compliance with FIDIC conditions. You will work closely with project teams to manage contract-related tasks effectively. This position requires strong communication and analytical skills, as well as a solid understanding of contract management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer contracts according to FIDIC rules.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contractual documents with stakeholders.
  • Handle daily contract tasks and correspondence efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit IPCs, following up as needed.
  • Track project cash flow and assist with reporting tasks.
  • Prepare and manage variation orders and change requests.
  • Handle EOT submissions and prepare claims accurately.
  • Review contract risks and ensure all rules are followed.
  • Support commercial management tasks as required.
  • Coordinate with project teams for record compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • At least 5 years of experience in contracts administration.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and their application.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze contract risks effectively.
  • MRICS qualification is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
