About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Duty Engineer to join our team in Metro Manila, NCR. This is an on-site position that requires a proactive approach to maintaining hotel equipment and ensuring operational efficiency. You will play a key role in overseeing daily operations, managing maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

As a Duty Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards in all hotel areas. Your expertise in mechanics and electricity will be crucial in ensuring that all systems function smoothly. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with a team of technicians and contribute to a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure hotel equipment and areas are maintained according to standards.
  • Check daily utilities readings for efficiency and report discrepancies.
  • Conduct shift briefings to communicate operational requirements.
  • Manage technicians for machinery maintenance and repairs.
  • Organize energy management functions to optimize usage.
  • Monitor energy costs and expenditures for budget adherence.
  • Perform spot checks for personal grooming and hygiene standards.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Certificate from Technical College in Mechanics or Electricity.
  • Demonstrates high-quality work and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and Filipino (C1 level).

Statutory benefits (Philippines)

  • 13th-month pay

    Mandatory under PD 851: equivalent to one month's basic salary, paid no later than 24 December each year.
