Mid-Level Field Operator - On-site in Abu Dhabi

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Field Operator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will work on-site to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our plant and equipment. You will play a crucial part in maintaining high operational standards and supporting our team in various tasks. This position requires a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment.
• Record routine parameter readings and report any deviations.
• Inform your Supervisor of any abnormalities or problems.
• Ensure standby equipment is ready for emergencies.
• Assist in routine testing and re-commissioning of the plant after maintenance.
• Adopt safe working practices in all tasks.
• Identify hazards and participate in the reporting system.
• Maintain good standards of housekeeping in the work area.

Requirements

• Hold a Higher Secondary School Certificate.
• Have at least 4 years of experience in a power station.
• Possess 2 years of experience as a Desalination Operator or equivalent.
• Demonstrate strong English language skills.
• Show effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit basic numeracy and IT skills.
• Understand single line diagrams.
• Have problem-solving and planning skills.
