About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Safety Officer to join our team in Makati. This is an on-site position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety standards throughout our solar PV projects. You will lead safety initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HSSE aspects throughout the solar PV project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement site-specific HSSE Plans to enhance safety protocols.
  • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments to mitigate potential issues.
  • Oversee subcontractor prequalification and monitor safety performance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO standards to maintain high safety levels.
  • Facilitate audits and inspections to evaluate safety practices.
  • Deliver safety induction and ongoing training to all site personnel.
  • Lead incident investigations and emergency response drills to prepare the team.
  • Maintain accurate HSSE records and track key performance indicators.
  • Act as the point of contact for Bureau Veritas inspections and certifications.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Professional safety certification such as NEBOSH IGC or OSHA 30-hr.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Proven skills in audit, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities to engage the team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
