Senior Midstream Facilities Engineer (On-site)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Midstream Facilities Engineer to join our team in the UAE. This on-site role requires extensive experience in upstream and midstream facilities engineering. You will play a key role in defining concepts and assessing facility limitations. Your expertise will help drive project success and ensure safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level upstream and midstream concepts, including wellsite and compression facilities.
• Identify limitations in processing, compression, power, and water disposal.
• Provide CAPEX/OPEX estimates and analyze key cost drivers.
• Assess gathering systems, pipelines, and third-party access constraints.
• Identify facilities-related risks for the asset risk register.
• Review facilities documentation and integrity records for compliance.

Requirements

• BSc in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in upstream and midstream facilities engineering.
• Strong background in concept selection and brownfield modifications.
• Proficient in cost estimating and process safety.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Effective problem identification and analytical skills.
• Organizational ability to manage complex projects.
• Familiarity with QUESTOR is a plus.
