About the Role

Join our team as a Junior Receptionist at a prestigious 5-star hotel in Dubai. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in a vibrant environment. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth check-in process. The position requires you to work onsite, with a typical shift pattern of 8 hours per day, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Visitor Management system for a professional welcome.
  • Welcome internal colleagues courteously and assist them as needed.
  • Maintain ownership of the reception area and keep it organized.
  • Assist with issuing lost passes and managing guest inquiries.
  • Engage with colleagues and clients for seamless service delivery.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team.
  • Report issues impacting building operations to management.
  • Provide local transport information to guests and assist with directions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Comfortable with new technologies and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in a hotel or service industry is a plus.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
