About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at a prestigious 5-star hotel in the UAE. This role involves overseeing the housekeeping department to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service. You will work onsite, leading a team of housekeeping hosts and ensuring guest satisfaction.

The position requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to train and motivate staff. You will also coordinate with other departments to maintain seamless operations. Your shift pattern will be flexible, covering mornings, afternoons, and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department.
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing training for existing hosts.
  • Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Communicate effectively with front desk and maintenance teams.
  • Monitor daily arrivals and coordinate cleaning schedules.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Adhere to hotel standards and guest feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury hotels.
  • Diploma or equivalent in hospitality management.
  • Proficient in MS Office and hotel management systems.
  • Fluent in English (B2 level or higher).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Requirements

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
