About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Safety Supervisor to join our team in Dubai. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe working environment. You will oversee safety practices and help implement safety plans on-site. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, or a NEBOSH diploma, is required. You should also have a strong grasp of safety management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Track and assist in the rollout of safety plans to ensure compliance.
  • Supervise daily operations of the safety department to maintain standards.
  • Oversee incident investigations and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Plan and conduct safety training courses to educate staff.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
