Mid-Level Technical Document Engineer On-site in Abu Dhabi

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Technical Document Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a strong background in MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in MEP design and project execution, with a preference for those who have worked in the UAE. You will be responsible for managing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with building construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control MEP technical records and graphical information.
• Maintain updated MEP drawings for all sites under management.
• Act as custodian for all technical drawings and graphical records.
• Coordinate with contractors to collect and archive completion certificates and warranties.
• Develop and implement standardized graphical documentation methods.
• Prepare MEP project execution programs to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• AutoCAD Certification with advanced proficiency.
• Minimum five years of experience in MEP design.
• Experience with CAFM systems is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and MS Office.
• Familiarity with building construction standards.
• Three or more years of experience in the UAE is preferred.
