We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Veterinary Hospital Nurse to join our team in Dubai. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document the condition of inpatient and ICU patients to ensure their well-being.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately to support recovery.
  • Assist in critical care and post-operative recovery to promote healing.
  • Manage wound care and maintain patient hygiene to prevent infections.
  • Help with diagnostic procedures and surgical preparation to ensure readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control and hospital SOPs for safety.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment charts for effective care.
  • Support client updates through talks about patient progress.
  • Keep the ICU and ward clean and ready for incoming patients.

Requirements

  • Hold a Veterinary Nursing qualification (Diploma/Degree or equivalent).
  • Have 1–2+ years' experience in small animal clinical practice.
  • Demonstrate strong clinical observation and patient monitoring skills.
  • Be calm, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Be eligible for UAE veterinary practice/licensing.
  • Possess strong English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
