About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Workshop Supervisor to join our team in the UAE. This role involves overseeing workshop operations and ensuring that our technicians meet performance standards. Responsibilities

  • Supervise health and safety practices to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee technicians to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Track performance and quality to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify roadblocks in workshop flow and implement solutions.
  • Manage inventory and maintain organization within the workshop.
  • Ensure adherence to work standards and procedures.
  • Conduct daily team meetings to align goals and tasks.
  • Act as the main point of contact for workshop-related issues.
  • Plan and distribute work effectively among technicians.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to pursue continuous improvements.
  • Conduct one-on-one sessions to provide feedback and support.
  • Identify training needs and arrange relevant courses.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead by example in a workshop setting.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues.
  • Digitally savvy with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Technical automotive background with a valid driving license.
  • Experience with electric vehicles is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to new technologies and processes.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
