About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Picker to join our team in Dubai. This on-site role involves accurately picking customer orders for online grocery fulfillment. You will work in a dynamic and busy environment, ensuring that all orders meet quality and accuracy standards. Responsibilities

  • Pick customer orders accurately using handheld devices or mobile applications.
  • Ensure all orders are completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Select products according to customer requirements, ensuring correct quantity and specifications.
  • Prioritize urgent and scheduled delivery orders to meet delivery timelines.
  • Maintain high levels of picking productivity while ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Carefully select the freshest products and check expiry dates before picking.
  • Pack customer orders to protect product quality during transportation.
  • Report stock shortages and damaged products to management.
  • Follow all food safety and health regulations.
  • Achieve daily productivity and picking accuracy targets.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years' experience in retail or grocery fulfillment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Basic technology skills to operate handheld devices.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of food handling and product quality standards.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
