About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Category Management Executive to join our team in Dubai. This role focuses on enhancing our category strategies to meet business objectives. You will work closely with the Category Manager and suppliers to ensure our product offerings are competitive and aligned with market trends. This position requires a strong understanding of the UAE market and a passion for grocery retail.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Category Manager in executing category strategies that align with business goals.
  • Assist in sourcing new products and maintaining a diverse assortment for the category.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to gather product details, pricing, and promotional offers.
  • Track category performance, including sales, pricing, and stock availability.
  • Help plan and execute weekly and monthly promotions with suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely listing of products on our app.
  • Liaise with the supply chain team for product availability and replenishment cycles.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and new product opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE market and consumer behavior.
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess category performance.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
