About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Head of Data Science & Asset Risk to join our team in Dubai. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in data science and risk management. The successful candidate will lead a team in optimizing financial outcomes through data-driven insights. This position is not remote, and candidates must be willing to work on-site in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Oversee analytics, forecasting, and risk intelligence for the asset portfolio.
• Optimize financial outcomes using data and artificial intelligence.
• Maintain market indices and price curves to ensure accuracy.
• Define and implement asset risk frameworks that align with business goals.
• Provide risk-driven inputs to capital planning processes.
• Ensure models are auditable and ready for regulatory review.
• Chair the Residual Value & Risk Committees to guide strategic decisions.
• Influence vehicle pricing and lease structures based on data insights.
• Own the AI-driven asset intelligence platform to enhance performance.
• Lead a senior team of Data Scientists and Analytics specialists to achieve targets.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in statistics, data science, or risk management.
• Experience in automotive, asset finance, banking, or large portfolio management.
• Demonstrated ownership of models impacting profit and loss.
• Strong background in IFRS9, ECL, and portfolio risk management.
• Comfortable engaging with CFOs, CROs, and board members.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
