About the Role

As a Senior Manager in Components Management, you will play a vital role in ensuring the availability and efficiency of aircraft components. This position is based on-site in Sharjah, UAE, and requires a strong background in aerospace or mechanical engineering. You will collaborate with various teams to develop strategies that support the operational needs of our fleet. Your expertise in aviation management and supply chain processes will be essential in driving our component management initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure component availability and cost efficiency for aircraft operations.
  • Develop and execute effective strategies for component support.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and inventory investments efficiently.
  • Oversee vendor performance and maintain component data integrity.
  • Lead procurement efforts for components and negotiate support agreements.
  • Track supplier performance and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Management, or Supply Chain.
  • Demonstrate deep familiarity with Airbus A320FAM components.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
  • Possess strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Show proficiency in aviation MRO systems like AMOS or Ramco.
  • Exhibit analytical thinking and a solid understanding of airworthiness.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
