Senior Project Engineer On-site in Abu Dhabi

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves overseeing Civil and Fit-Out projects. You will coordinate with contractors, clients, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in project management, preferably within the GCC region. This position requires fluency in English, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of Civil and Fit-Out projects to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, project designers, and suppliers to align project goals.
• Maintain a risk register and report risks to management for proactive mitigation.
• Serve as the primary contact with external consultants and contractors for project updates.
• Prepare and review project proposals to ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Manage project requirements and internal cost control procedures effectively.
• Schedule and attend project meetings, documenting action items for follow-up.
• Prepare weekly project dashboard reports to track progress and issues.

Requirements

• Hold a degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Management roles.
• Preferably possess at least 2 years of experience in the GCC region.
• Demonstrate the ability to resolve coordination issues effectively.
• Possess strong technical knowledge in Civil, Fit-Out, and MEP coordination.
• Chartered membership in a recognized professional body is a plus.
• Project Manager Professional certification is advantageous.
