About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QHSE Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential for ensuring the highest standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental practices. You will oversee QHSE policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local rules and international standards. Your expertise will help foster a culture of safety and responsibility within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain QHSE policies to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Support the development of QHSE strategies that align with company goals.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness among staff.
  • Ensure compliance with local rules and international standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead investigations of incidents and near misses to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees.
  • Track QHSE performance through KPIs and reporting tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in QHSE management roles.
  • Experience in rolling out ISO-based management systems.
  • Strong skills in risk assessment and incident investigation.
  • Knowledge of safety auditing and compliance management.
  • Experience in managing contractor and vendor safety.
  • NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent is a plus.
  • Lead Auditor certification is preferred.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
