Senior Subcon Quality Engineer - On-site in Carmona

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Subcon Quality Engineer to join our team in Carmona, CALABARZON. This is an on-site position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our subcontractors in the semiconductor industry. You will define quality requirements and support external manufacturing processes. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with subcontractors to implement quality programs and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will also facilitate audits and lead failure analysis to resolve quality issues. Responsibilities

• Define and implement quality requirements for subcontractors to ensure compliance.
• Conduct quality phase-gate reviews for new product implementations and process changes.
• Act as a technical resource for subcontractor development and production support.
• Lead audits of subcontractor processes and quality management systems.
• Support external customer audits at subcontractor sites as the main contact.
• Lead failure analysis and resolve quality issues, providing on-site support as needed.
• Track subcontractor quality performance and drive improvement initiatives.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance quality programs.
• Promote a zero-defect mindset across subcontractor sites.
• Train subcontractors on quality systems and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor quality or manufacturing.
• Experience working with external manufacturing or subcontractors (OSAT).
• Strong knowledge of APQP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA methodologies.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 / TS16949 quality standards.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
