About the Role
Zahr Freighters is seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Assistant - On-site - Dubai to enhance our daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods, while ensuring inventory accuracy and a safe working environment. This position requires a proactive approach to warehouse management and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments efficiently.
- Organize and store goods in designated warehouse locations to optimize space.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for timely dispatch.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and warehouse activities.
- Ensure products are handled safely and stored according to standards.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or storekeeping experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move goods safely and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of inventory management procedures.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Team-oriented attitude with effective communication skills.
