Job Title: Account Assistant

Location: CMD Road, Ikosi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a smart, reliable, detail-oriented and fast-learning Accounts Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

Record and post financial transactions
Prepare and process journal entries
Assist with trial balance preparation and review
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Maintain accurate accounting records
Process invoices, receipts, payments and expenses
Assist with accounts payable and receivable
Maintain proper financial documentation and filing
Assist with preparation of financial reports
Support accounting, tax and compliance-related activities
Carry out other accounting duties as required.

Training:

Training will be provided on our internal accounting processes, systems and procedures.
However, applicants must already have a sound practical understanding of basic accounting.

Requirements

HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Some practical accounting experience
Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
Must understand journal entries
Must be able to prepare and/or work with a trial balance
Basic understanding of accounts payable and receivable
Experience with bank reconciliation is an advantage
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounting software is an advantage
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Fast learner with a willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and adapt quickly
Excellent attention to detail
Honest, organised, reliable and discreet
Good communication skills.

Net Salary
N130,000 - N200,000 / month.
