We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Locations: Ajegunle and Olodi Apapa, Lagos
Industry: FMCG – Wholesale of Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic Beverages

Summary

We are seeking a competent and experienced Accountant to oversee the company’s financial operations and controls, ensuring accurate financial records, proper reconciliation of sales and stock transactions, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations and financial controls
Reconcile sales, cash collections, bank transactions, and stock movements
Monitor customer accounts, receivables, payables, and outstanding debts
Prepare periodic financial and management reports
Monitor expenses, cash flow, and operational costs
Review invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and supporting documents
Ensure proper recording and reconciliation of sales and inventory transactions
Support budgeting, financial planning, and cost-control activities
Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and company financial requirements
Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
ICAN/ACCA qualification or in view is an added advantage
4 - 6 years relevant accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, wholesale, or distribution
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation, and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skill
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Candidates residing within Ajegunle, Olodi Apapa, Apapa, Amuwo Odofin, Mile 2, or nearby areas will be given preference.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 monthly.
