Admin Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized, responsible, and proactive Admin Officer to support the smooth day-to-day administrative operations of the school.
• The successful candidate will coordinate office activities, maintain accurate records, communicate with parents and staff, and provide administrative support to school management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the school's day-to-day administrative and office activities.
• Maintain accurate records of students, staff, attendance, correspondence, and school documents.
• Handle incoming calls, messages, emails, and enquiries professionally.
• Assist with student admissions, registration, and enrolment processes.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, staff, and visitors.
• Prepare letters, reports, notices, schedules, and other administrative documents.
• Support school management with meetings, events, and other administrative activities.
• Monitor and maintain office supplies and administrative materials.
• Assist with fee records, receipts, and other basic administrative documentation.
• Coordinate communication between school management, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure confidential school and student information is properly handled.
• Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional school office environment.
• Monitor administrative deadlines and ensure tasks are completed promptly.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace, or similar tools.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively with children, parents, teachers, and school management.

Requirements
Education:

• Minimum of NCE, OND, HND, or equivalent.
• A degree in Business Administration, Education, Office Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Previous experience in school administration, office administration, customer service, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Experience working in a school environment is an added advantage.
• Candidates with strong administrative skills and the right attitude may also be considered.

Other Requirements:

• Must be organized, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Must be professional and presentable.
• Must be comfortable working with parents, staff, and students.
• Must be proficient in basic computer operations.
• Must be willing to work according to the school's schedule.
• Ability to work independently while also being a good team player.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
