Summary
- We are seeking competent and committed After-School Lesson Teachers to provide additional academic support to secondary school students.
- Teachers should be able to simplify concepts, identify learning gaps and help students improve their academic performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide after-school lessons to secondary school students.
- Explain subject concepts clearly and practically.
- Identify students' learning gaps and provide targeted support.
- Prepare lesson materials, exercises and revision activities.
- Support students with assignments, tests and examination preparation.
- Monitor students' progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment.
- Communicate relevant academic concerns to the appropriate school staff.
- Encourage students to develop effective study habits.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of NCE, OND, HND or Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject or related field.
- Good knowledge of the subject being taught.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with secondary school students.
- Candidates who can teach multiple relevant subjects may have an advantage.
