Job Description
- Enugu Air Limited is seeking a highly responsible, vigilant, and experienced Aviation Security Supervisor to oversee security activities and ensure compliance with applicable aviation security requirements across our stations.
- The successful candidate will supervise security personnel, monitor security procedures, identify potential security risks, and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to protect passengers, staff, aircraft, facilities, and company assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate aviation security personnel and daily security activities at the station.
- Ensure strict compliance with approved aviation security policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor access control to restricted and operational areas.
- Conduct regular security inspections and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Ensure effective screening and security procedures are followed by relevant personnel.
- Monitor passenger, baggage, cargo, aircraft, and staff security processes as applicable.
- Coordinate with airport security agencies, relevant government authorities, and other stakeholders on security matters.Respond promptly to security incidents, suspicious activities, threats, and emergencies.
- Prepare and submit security incident reports and other required security documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND minimum
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in aviation security, airport security, corporate security, or a related security environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is required. Experience working within an airline, airport, or aviation environment is highly desirable.
- Relevant aviation security training or certification will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of aviation security procedures, access control, incident management, and security risk assessment.
- NYSC: Evidence of completion or exemption from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme
