Job Description

DAG Industries Nigeria Limited, a leading player in Nigeria's automotive industry specializing in the assembly and manufacturing of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, as well as the sales of lubricants, spare parts, and tyres, is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager - Tyres.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive sales growth, market expansion, and profitability within the tyre business segment.
Establish, manage, and strengthen dealer and distributor networks across Lagos, Ogun State, and surrounding markets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the automotive, transportation, logistics, and fleet sectors.
Manage relationships with fleet operators, corporate customers, distributors, and key stakeholders.
Drive sales performance through effective territory management and customer acquisition strategies.
Increase market penetration and enhance brand visibility across assigned territories.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare periodic sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, and business performance analyses.
Ensure achievement of sales targets, revenue objectives, and key business performance indicators.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years' proven experience in tyre sales within the Nigerian market.
Strong knowledge of the tyre industry and tyre distribution network in Nigeria.
Comprehensive understanding of tyre customers, dealers, distributors, fleet operators, and key accounts across Lagos and Ogun State.
Proven experience in dealer network development and management.
Strong experience in fleet business development and customer relationship management.
Prior experience in the Automotive, Tyre, Manufacturing, or FMCG industry.
Experience in selling Indian tyre brands and premium tyre brands will be a distinct advantage.
Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and consistently achieve sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business reporting tools.
