Job Summary

• The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the business by identifying and pursuing new customers, partnerships, and bulk-order opportunities across events, corporate organisations, restaurants, food-service businesses, supermarkets, and retail channels.
• This is not a desk-based marketing role.
• The candidate will be expected to actively engage the market, build relationships with potential customers and partners, represent the brand at relevant events, manage sales opportunities from initial contact through conversion, and maintain strong follow-up to generate repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new customers, partnerships and bulk-order opportunities across the priority channels.
• Prospect independently through field visits, introductions, networking, research, tastings and product sampling.
• Build relationships with event planners, caterers, restaurant operators, corporate decision-makers, procurement teams and other relevant partners.
• Move opportunities from first contact through sampling/presentation, proposal, follow-up, order and repeat business.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline with clear next actions and consistent follow-through.
• Represent the brand at relevant events, pop-ups, conferences and other sales opportunities.
• Support customer communication, order coordination, deliveries and other operational requirements behind the sale.
• Gather useful market feedback on customer preferences, pricing, competitors and emerging sales opportunities.

Requirements

• First Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field with 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, partnerships, account management, or a similar customer-facing commercial role
• Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, catering, events, FMCG, or another consumer-facing business is an added advantage
• Strong sales, networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to identify opportunities, build a sales pipeline, convert leads into customers, and generate repeat business
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence engaging different customers and decision-makers
• Proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to independently identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Highly organised with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple leads, customer follow-ups, orders, deliveries, and deadlines
• Comfortable with field activities and attending events, including evenings and weekends when required
• Good working knowledge of WhatsApp, Instagram, email, spreadsheets, and business systems such as Zoho
• Strong market awareness and ability to gather and communicate useful customer and competitor insights
