Job Summary
- Our client in the agro industry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cashier to join their finance / accounts team.
- The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of relevant cashiering experience, preferably within the agro or manufacturing industry, with strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process cash, POS, bank transfers, and other forms of payment.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Reconcile daily cash collections and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare daily cash and sales reports.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of cash inflows and outflows.
- Ensure all payments and transactions are properly authorized and documented.
- Assist with bank deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions when required.
- Identify and report discrepancies in cash or financial records.
- Support the accounts team with routine accounting and administrative duties.
Requirements
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Cashier, preferably in the agro or manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of cash handling, reconciliation, and basic accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting / POS software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High level of accuracy, honesty, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
