Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Commerce teacher to join our team.
- The successful candidate will teach Commerce to students at the secondary school level, develop and implement engaging lesson plans, and assess student progress.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Commerce, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that cover a diverse range of Commerce topics, using a variety of instructional methods and resources.
- Facilitate hands-on learning activities and project-based assignments to reinforce the theoretical concepts taught in the classroom.
- Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve their understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and any disciplinary issues.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and best practices.
- Contribute to the overall development and enrichment of the school community, including participating in extracurricular activities.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or a related field with2 - 3 years of experience teaching Commerce or a related subject at the secondary level.
- Teaching certification.
- Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective lesson plans and assessments.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of the core areas of Commerce.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and convey information effectively.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative lesson plans and activities.
- Patience and adaptability to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
