Moniepoint Incorporated is seeking two Data Entry Officers to join their team in Lagos, working in a hybrid model based in Alimosho and Ojo. The role focuses on accurately entering and maintaining merchant data within the Moniebook platform to ensure smooth onboarding and reliable reporting.

As a key part of the onboarding process, you will collaborate closely with Onboarding Specialists and Account Managers to keep data clean and ready for use from day one. Success in this role is measured by accuracy, timely data processing, and maintaining a low backlog of tasks. You will be responsible for managing product catalogues, inventory records, pricing data, and customer profiles, ensuring all information meets company standards. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic fintech environment where your contributions directly impact the customer experience and operational excellence. Candidates should be based in either Alimosho or Ojo and be comfortable working in a hybrid setting.

Requirements

EssentialNice to have below

1-3 years of experience in data entry, data operations, or a related role, preferably within SaaS, retail tech, or fintech sectors.
Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of high accuracy in handling large data volumes.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including data cleaning and functions like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
Familiarity with CRM platforms or point-of-sale/back-office SaaS tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Accurately input, update, and maintain merchant data including product catalogues, SKUs, pricing, inventory, and customer profiles.
Process bulk data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files, ensuring data completeness and format validation.
Prepare merchant accounts for onboarding by populating required product, inventory, and configuration data within set timelines.
Review and verify merchant-submitted data templates, resolving errors or missing information before entry.
Conduct data validation and quality assurance checks to identify and correct errors or duplicates.
Maintain detailed records of data entry activities and document common issues for process improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill ad-hoc data requests and ensure onboarding deadlines are met.
