Job Summary

• We are seeking energetic, target-driven, and customer-focused professionals to join our sales team as Direct Sales Specialists, Consumer Lending Specialists, and POS Sales Specialists.
• The successful candidates will be responsible for driving business growth through customer acquisition, promotion of banking products and services, consumer loan sales, and Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal acquisition and activation.
• The ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills with a passion for achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Direct Sales:

• Identify and acquire new customers for the bank's products and services.
• Promote savings accounts, current accounts, salary accounts, and other retail banking solutions.
• Generate quality leads through field marketing, referrals, and networking.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.

Consumer Lending:

• Market and sell the bank's consumer loan products.
• Source quality loan prospects from salary earners, SMEs, and other eligible customers.
• Guide customers through the loan application process.
• Conduct preliminary customer assessments and document verification.
• Monitor loan portfolio quality and ensure timely repayment.
• Build strategic partnerships with organizations for payroll lending opportunities.

POS Sales:

• Identify and onboard merchants requiring POS terminals.
• Market POS terminals and digital payment solutions.
• Coordinate POS deployment, activation, and installation.
• Train merchants on proper POS usage.
• Monitor transaction volumes and merchant performance.
• Resolve merchant complaints and liaise with relevant support teams.
• Drive transaction growth and merchant retention.

Other Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain accurate sales records and daily activity reports.
• Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional events.
• Comply with regulatory policies and internal banking procedures.
• Represent the bank professionally in all customer interactions.
• Continuously identify new business opportunities within assigned territories.
• Submit periodic performance reports to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline.
• Minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2) or Lower Credit.
• Previous sales experience in banking, financial services, FMCG, fintech, insurance, or telecommunications is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong sales aptitude are encouraged to apply.
