Job Summary

• We are seeking enthusiastic and target-driven Direct Sales Trainees to join our Personal & Retail Banking team.
• The successful candidates will undergo structured training in banking products, sales techniques, customer acquisition, relationship management, and financial services before taking responsibility for generating new business and growing the bank’s customer base.
• The role is ideal for fresh graduates and individuals with strong communication, interpersonal, and sales abilities who are interested in building a career in banking and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new customers through direct sales, referrals, networking, and field marketing activities.
• Promote and sell the bank’s personal and retail banking products and services.
• Generate leads and convert prospects into active customers.
• Open and onboard new customer accounts in line with approved procedures.
• Promote products such as savings accounts, current accounts, debit cards, digital banking solutions, loans, deposits, and other approved financial products.
• Conduct customer visits and field prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Educate customers on available banking products and services and recommend suitable solutions.
• Achieve assigned individual and team sales targets.
• Follow up on leads, prospects, and prospective customers to ensure successful conversion.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and prospects.
• Participate in sales campaigns, activations, market storms, and other customer acquisition initiatives.
• Ensure all customer acquisition activities comply with the bank's policies, KYC requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, conversions, and performance.
• Work closely with branch and sales teams to support customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
