Join Four Points by Sheraton in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom as an Electrician, where you will respond promptly to guest repair requests and ensure smooth maintenance operations.

This role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment to maintain high standards of guest satisfaction. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, performing minor repairs, and adhering to safety protocols while supporting the overall engineering and housekeeping teams. The position requires effective communication with guests and team members to resolve maintenance issues efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills across various maintenance disciplines including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems within a reputable international hotel brand.

Requirements

EssentialNice to have below

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting.
Valid Driver’s License.
Basic knowledge or willingness to learn air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and bending.
Basic computer skills for scheduling and temperature adjustments.

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve guest maintenance requests promptly.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical equipment.
Inspect and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts.
Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved systems.
Carry out minor repairs including painting, drywall, and electrical component replacement.
Use Lockout/Tagout procedures for safety during maintenance work.
Support landscaping maintenance and sprinkler repairs.
Follow all company safety, security, and operational policies.
