Job Summary
- The Executive Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to company executives, senior management, and authorized personnel.
- The role requires excellent driving skills, discretion, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety, confidentiality, and customer service.
- The Executive Driver also ensures assigned vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and compliant with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Transportation:
- Safely transport executives, VIP guests, and authorized personnel to meetings, appointments, airports, and other destinations.
- Plan efficient travel routes to avoid traffic delays and ensure timely arrival.
- Monitor traffic, road, and weather conditions to optimize travel schedules.
- Provide a professional and courteous service at all times.
- Assist passengers with luggage, documents, or other items when required.
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate changes in schedules and last-minute travel requests.
Vehicle Management:
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
- Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, coolant, tire pressure, battery condition, and other essential vehicle systems.
- Schedule routine servicing, maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or vehicle damage.
- Maintain valid insurance, registration, licensing, and roadworthiness documentation.
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to minimize risks.
- Ensure passengers wear seat belts and observe all safety protocols.
- Maintain an accident-free driving record where possible.
- Respond appropriately during emergencies or vehicle breakdowns.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks detailing mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and trips.
- Keep records of vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Submit fuel receipts, expense reports, and other documentation as required.
- Support administrative errands including banking, document delivery, and procurement when assigned.
Confidentiality & Professionalism:
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding executive discussions, business activities, and sensitive information.
- Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and integrity while interacting with executives, clients, and visitors.
- Present a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Remain available outside regular business hours when business needs require.
Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC; OND or HND is an added advantage.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Defensive Driving Certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Executive Driver, Corporate Driver, or Personal Driver for senior executives.
- Good knowledge of Lagos road networks and interstate routes (or applicable location).
- Ability to use GPS navigation and route planning applications.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 Monthly.
