Job Summary
- We are urgently seeking a seasoned Company Accountant with strong logistics/warehousing experience to join our team in Isolo, Lagos.
- The ideal candidate must be experienced in financial reporting, TAX/VAT compliance, online banking operations, reconciliations, payroll, and logistics accounting, with the ability to lead and supervise an accounting team effectively.
- The successful candidate must be available to resume immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle tax filing, VAT computation, and remittance to relevant authorities.
- Manage online banking transactions, reconciliations, and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure financial compliance.
- Track logistics-related expenses, vendor payments, receivables, and payables.
- Prepare payroll and ensure statutory deductions are remitted promptly.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of tasks.
- Review the work of accounting staff and ensure proper financial controls are followed.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, TAX, VAT, payroll, and online banking.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage an accounting team.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must reside in or be able to commute easily to Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
- Immediate availability is required.
Salary
N300,000 Monthly.
