Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description

• The Front Desk Officer will serve as the first point of contact for the organization, providing professional reception and administrative support while ensuring a welcoming and well-organized front office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to visitors, clients, and guests professionally.
• Receive, screen, and direct incoming calls and enquiries.
• Manage the reception area and maintain a professional appearance.
• Receive and distribute mails, parcels, and other correspondence.
• Maintain accurate visitor and front desk records.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings.
• Respond to basic enquiries and direct visitors to the appropriate personnel.
• Support general administrative and clerical activities.
• Monitor front office supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
• Coordinate with office assistants, security, and other support staff where required.
• Assist with meeting room preparation and general office coordination.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and visitor information.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in front desk, reception, customer service, or administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
