Palladium Group is seeking a motivated Health Informatics Intern to join their Abuja team for a 6-month internship.

The intern will collaborate closely with mentors and senior leaders to support the development and deployment of electronic medical record systems under the USAID PEPFAR program. This role offers hands-on experience in health informatics within an international development context. The intern will assist with application development, troubleshooting, system documentation, testing, and stakeholder coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals and gain valuable exposure to technology-driven health initiatives.

Requirements

Currently studying Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, C, C++, HTML/DHTML.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

Responsibilities

Support application development and maintenance including coding and programming tasks.
Assist in troubleshooting and providing technical support to system users.
Contribute to system documentation and testing processes.
Help plan and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities.
Provide additional support as directed by mentors or the Health Informatics Team Lead.
