HR Personnel & Accountant

About the Role

• To own the company’s day-to-day financial management and human resources administration.
• Keeping the company financially and compliant while supporting recruitment, onboarding and staff administration.

Job Responsibilities
Accounting & finance:

• Maintain accurate books, ledgers and records; process accounts payable / receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, cash-flow reports and budgets.
• Manage payroll, PAYE, pension and statutory deductions.
• Handle tax compliance (VAT, WHT, CIT) and liaise with FIRS / LIRS and external auditors.
• Manage procurement payments, petty cash and expense control.
• Support project-level financial tracking and reporting.

Human resources & administration:

• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employee documentation.
• Maintain personnel records, contracts, leave and attendance.
• Administer staff welfare, pensions (PenCom) and statutory registrations (e.g., NSITF, ITF).
• Support performance management and HR-policy implementation.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ICAN / ACCA is an advantage.
• 3–4 years in accounting, ideally with combined HR / admin responsibility in an SME.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage or similar) and MS Excel.
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian tax, payroll and labour regulations.

Salary
N450,000 monthly.
