Job Summary
- As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Human Resources Manager to build a high-performing workforce, strengthen our people systems, and drive organizational productivity.
- The Human Resources Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across all HR functions.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining top talent while implementing performance-driven HR initiatives that improve employee productivity, accountability, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Partner with management to build a high-performance culture across all departments.
- Provide HR advisory support to business leaders on workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and selection processes for all business units.
- Design and implement effective onboarding programs that accelerate employee productivity.
- Develop talent pipelines for critical and future business roles.
Performance Management & Productivity:
- Design, implement, and monitor performance management systems, KPIs, and appraisal frameworks.
- Work closely with department heads to improve individual and team productivity.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
- Drive employee accountability through measurable performance standards.
- Produce periodic productivity and workforce performance reports for executive management.
Learning & Development:
- Conduct training needs assessments and implement learning initiatives.
- Develop leadership development and succession planning programmes.
- Coordinate technical, behavioural, and compliance training.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and high performance.
- Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that improve morale, retention, and productivity.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook updates.
- Oversee payroll inputs, leave administration, employee records, and HR documentation.
- Maintain accurate HR metrics and dashboards for decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Time-to-fill vacancies

- Productivity improvement across departments

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience within the real estate, construction, or related industry is an advantage.
Required Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience implementing performance management and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Strong recruitment and talent management skills.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience using HR metrics and KPIs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
