AABA Memorial School is a private educational institution located at Plot 2D, Gibson Jalo Way, Army Barracks Road, Jimeta-Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria. The school provides continuous learning pathways across multiple tiers, offering programs from Creche, Nursery, and Primary classes up through Senior Secondary School (SSS) levels.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Literature-in-English Teacher

Location: Adamawa

Key Responsibilities

Teach Literature-in-English effectively across Senior Secondary classes.
Prepare students for WAEC, NECO and other relevant examinations.
Prepare engaging lesson plans, notes, tests and examinations.
Foster critical thinking, creativity and a love for literature.
Monitor students' progress and provide academic support.
Participate in school activities and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree/HND in Literature-in-English, English Education or related field.
Relevant teaching qualification is an added advantage.
Proven teaching experience at the Senior Secondary level is preferred.
Excellent communication, classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and ability to inspire students to achieve academic excellence.
