Job Summary
- The Marketing Manager will be responsible for promoting the organization’s pension products and services, attracting new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and supporting the achievement of business growth and revenue targets.
- The role requires a good understanding of the pension industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain pension products clearly to individuals, employers, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote pension products and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities among individuals, employers, organizations, and professional groups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct presentations, seminars, workshops, and client education sessions on pension schemes and retirement planning.
- Explain pension products, benefits, contribution requirements, and regulatory guidelines to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Support client onboarding, account opening, contribution processing, and documentation requirements.
- Following up on prospective clients and converting leads to active contributors. (Transfer Window activities)
- Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to resolve client concerns promptly.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the pension industry.
- Prepare regular marketing, sales, and client activity reports.
- Ensure that all marketing activities comply with applicable pension regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.
- Participate in exhibitions, corporate visits, networking events, and other promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, leads, sales activities, and business opportunities.
- Support the development of marketing materials, presentations, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental targets and overall organizational objectives.
- Coaching and mentoring young/ new marketers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in marketing/sales in the pension industry or business development experience in financial services, insurance or banking.
- Knowledge of pension products, retirement planning, and relevant industry regulations is highly desirable.
- Professional certification in marketing, pensions, finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
