Medical Sales Representatives

Location: Benin - Edo / Delta

Job Summary

• The Medical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling prescription drugs and medical products to healthcare professionals.
• The role involves educating doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers on product benefits, indications, and usage while driving sales growth and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell medications to physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare providers
• Present scientific and product information effectively
• Ensure proper product display in line with planograms
• Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) stock rotation
• Deploy and manage POS materials (posters, shelf strips, display stands, etc.)
• Monitor stock levels and report daily
• Ensure product availability and correct pricing
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager to resolve out-of-stock issues
• Support in-store promotions (sampling, discounts, etc.)
• Ensure full compliance with promotional setups
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and product visibility
• Report competitor activities and market trends
• Submit daily reports covering:
  • Doctor visits and activities
  • Stock levels and near-expiry products
  • Competitor insight

Requirements

• B.Sc in Biological Sciences or related discipline
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales-driven and target-oriented mindset
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities
• Good reporting and organizational skills.
