Job Description

• Jobtion Consulting is supporting a growing organisation in the alcoholic beverages sector to recruit an energetic and commercially driven Sales Executive – Alcoholic Beverages for its Warri operations.
• This is a field-focused sales role for a commercially minded professional who can drive distribution, outlet penetration, product visibility and sell-through across the territory, with a strong focus on nightlife and on-premise channels.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships across bars, clubs, lounges, restaurants, hotels, liquor stores, supermarkets, wholesalers and other relevant trade channels, while identifying new opportunities to increase product availability, visibility and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and distribution of the company's spirits and wine portfolio across the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key on-premise customers.
• Identify and open new outlets, particularly within the nightlife, bar, lounge, club, restaurant and hotel channels.
• Drive product availability, visibility, merchandising and execution standards across assigned outlets.
• Drive both sell-in and sell-out, ensuring products placed in outlets are actively converted into consumer sales and repeat orders.
• Conduct regular outlet visits and maintain effective coverage across the assigned territory.
• Execute and support brand activations, product sampling, nightlife activities, promotions and trade initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with outlet owners, managers, bartenders, waiters, promoters and other key influencers within the nightlife ecosystem.
• Identify opportunities for events, partnerships and activations that can accelerate brand penetration and sales.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, visibility and market trends, providing actionable market intelligence to management.
• Work closely with distributors and internal commercial and marketing teams to achieve territory sales objectives.
• Monitor stock availability, outlet movement, reorder patterns and customer performance.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, outlet coverage, customer development and market execution.
• Provide timely reports on sales performance, market activities, challenges, opportunities and competitor intelligence.
• Ensure compliance with agreed commercial, reporting and credit processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant sales experience in FMCG, alcoholic beverages, spirits/wines, HoReCa, on-premise or related categories.
• Proven experience in field sales, territory management and outlet development.
• Strong understanding of the Warri market and, preferably, its nightlife and on-premise ecosystem.
• Experience working with bars, clubs, lounges, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, wholesalers, liquor stores or other relevant trade channels.
• Demonstrable ability to grow distribution, open new outlets and drive sales.
• Strong selling, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High energy, confidence and the ability to engage comfortably with outlet owners, managers and other trade decision-makers.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify and convert sales opportunities.
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field and operate across the assigned territory.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver against targets.
• We are looking for someone who is commercially driven, energetic and relationship-oriented, with a genuine interest in nightlife, events and on-premise business.
• The ideal candidate understands that the role goes beyond taking orders, it requires creating demand, building strong trade relationships, improving visibility and ensuring products move consistently at outlet level.

Salary
N500,000 gross monthly
