Role Overview
- We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager with a strong track record of generating revenue, acquiring new customers and managing high-performing sales teams.
- This role is ideal for a proven B2B sales professional, not simply someone who has held a Sales Manager title. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate actual sales achievements, business generated and targets delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Lead, supervise and drive accountability across the sales team.
- Build and manage a strong prospect and opportunity pipeline.
- Generate new business across construction, real estate, manufacturing, industrial, oil & gas, cold-room and related sectors.
- Sell insulated sandwich panels, LGS and related construction products.
- Build relationships with developers, contractors, architects, engineers, project managers, procurement teams and corporate clients.
- Drive customer retention, repeat business and upselling.
- Monitor conversion rates, pipeline value, customer acquisition and revenue performance.
- Ensure consistent and effective lead follow-up.
- Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts and market intelligence.
- Monitor competitors, pricing and industry trends.
- Work closely with Production, Logistics, Finance and Projects teams.
- Coach and develop sales personnel while enforcing performance accountability.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–8+ years of demonstrable B2B sales/business development experience.
- Experience in building materials, construction, manufacturing, steel, roofing, insulation, engineering, industrial products or related industries is highly preferred.
- Proven evidence of revenue generated and sales targets achieved.
- Existing knowledge or network within the construction/property-development market is an advantage.
- Experience managing and driving a sales team.
- Strong lead generation, pipeline management and CRM skills.
- Highly proactive, commercially aggressive and target-driven.
- Ability to independently originate business rather than relying solely on company-generated leads.
- Strong leadership and accountability skills.
