Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the sales team, develop business opportunities, drive revenue growth, and expand the company’s customer base within the solar and renewable energy market.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sales leadership, business development, customer acquisition, and team management, with a good understanding of solar energy products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and business development plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Lead, supervise, motivate, and manage the sales team to consistently achieve individual and team sales objectives.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Drive the sales of solar energy systems, inverters, batteries, and other renewable energy solutions.
• Develop and manage sales pipelines, monitor leads, and ensure timely conversion of prospects into customers.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and commercial presentations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clients while protecting the company's business interests.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare regular sales reports, and provide management with actionable insights.
• Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with distributors, corporate clients, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Set sales targets, track team performance, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant sales and business development experience, preferably within the solar, renewable energy, power, electrical, or related industry.
• Proven experience in sales leadership and team management.
• Strong knowledge of solar energy products and solutions, including inverters, batteries, solar panels, and related systems.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Strong business development and customer acquisition abilities.
• Ability to develop sales strategies and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant CRM/sales management tools.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a target-driven environment.
