We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT), Kano, and Lagos

Summary

• We are seeking high-performing Sales Officers to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and business development across Lagos, Abuja and Kano.
• This role is strictly for candidates who have proven sales experience within the financial services industry.
• Candidates from unrelated industries will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the acquisition of new customers and business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Generate leads through direct sales, referrals, networking and other business development channels.
• Promote the company's financial products and services to prospective customers.
• Meet and consistently exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
• Conduct market visits and actively identify new business opportunities.
• Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through conversion and onboarding.
• Follow up on prospective clients and convert qualified leads into paying customers.
• Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on business development activities.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant sales experience within the financial services industry.
• Experience in commercial banking, finance houses, lending companies, microfinance banks, merchant banks, asset management, investment companies, or other relevant financial services institutions will be an advantage.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong customer acquisition and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong understanding of financial products and the ability to sell effectively to individuals and/or businesses.
• Ability to work independently and aggressively pursue sales opportunities.
• Must be commercially minded, target-driven and results-oriented.
• Candidates must be willing to work on-site and conduct field/business development activities when required.
• Candidates must be able to show evidence of what they have actually sold, who they sold to, and the results they achieved.
