Job Summary
- We are looking for a responsible and customer-focused Sales Representative to work at our outlet located within Next Cash & Carry.
- The Sales Representative will be responsible for attending to customers, promoting and selling Hatlab products, maintaining the sales area and ensuring proper handling and recording of daily sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Promote and sell Hatlabgelato and pastries to customers.
- Ensure products are properly displayed and presented.
- Keep the sales area clean, neat and organised at all times.
- Monitor product availability and notify the appropriate person when stock is running low.
- Ensure all sales are properly recorded and accounted for.
- Assist with stock counting and reconciliation when required.
- Follow up with customers and encourage repeat purchases.
- Maintain proper hygiene and food-handling standards.
- Report customer complaints, stock issues, equipment problems and other operational concerns promptly.
- Perform other duties related to the smooth running of the outlet as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, food service or customer service is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused and approachable.
- Honest, responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work independently and handle customers professionally.
- Ability to work the required 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM shift.
Location Requirement:
- The successful candidate should preferably reside within areas close to Next Cash & Carry, such as Jahi, Kado or other nearby locations, to ensure easy and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Candidates should be able to resume work on time and return home safely after closing.
Work Schedule:
- The position operates on a one day on, one day off schedule.
- Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 monthly.
