Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior SME Sales Officer to drive SME client acquisition, loan sales, portfolio growth, and relationship management.
• The ideal candidate should have strong SME lending experience and the ability to lead and manage SME Financing BDMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect, acquire, and onboard new SME clients and support them through the loan application process.
• Drive growth and profitability of the SME loan portfolio through effective sales and relationship management.
• Analyse financial statements and conduct loan appraisals to assess borrowers’ repayment capacity.
• Develop and manage SME financing opportunities, including SME Loans, PO Financing, and Bridge Financing.
• Prepare loan proposals and ensure proper documentation, approval, disbursement, and monitoring.
• Maintain existing client relationships, monitor loan portfolios, and drive timely repayments.
• Lead and manage SME Financing BDMs while tracking business performance and identifying growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in SME lending and financing.
• Proven track record in SME sales, business development, and loan portfolio management.
• Experience from MFBs, Commercial Banks, Merchant Banks, or Finance Houses is an added advantage.
• Previous experience managing a team of SME Financing BDMs is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial statement interpretation, loan appraisal, and SME financing products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, relationship management, and reporting skills, with good proficiency in MS Office.

Salary
N1,500,000 - N2,500,000 per month.
