Job Title: Team Member, Corporate Sales

Location: Lagos

Description

We are seeking a results-driven Corporate Sales professional to grow the organisation’s customer base, drive sales, strengthen client relationships, and identify new business opportunities within the corporate insurance market.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the customer lifecycle through upselling and cross-selling of insurance products.
Present, promote, and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers.
Conduct customer needs and cost-benefit analysis to recommend suitable solutions.
Advise clients on insurance policies that best meet their needs.
Develop customised insurance programmes for clients.
Develop and support the implementation of business development strategies.
Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, prospects, and consultants.
Develop customer-centric metrics and strategies to improve customer management.
Use customer insights and feedback to improve sales activities and service delivery.
Support agent recruitment and ensure alignment with company policies and strategy.
Identify performance gaps and support learning and development initiatives.
Ensure effective agent development systems are in place.
Evaluate the right product, client, and distribution channel mix to drive growth.
Monitor market and industry intelligence to support sales decisions.
Track market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Marketing, Finance, or an equivalent discipline.
3–6 years’ experience in insurance sales or a related role.
Professional certification in Insurance, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good knowledge of insurance products and services.
Ability to work with sales targets, customer data, and performance metrics.
