Job Title: Technician (Electricial and Mechanical)

Job Description
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment issues.
- Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
- Install, test, and commission new machinery and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety standards.
- Work closely with Production and Operations teams to improve equipment performance.
- Recommend improvements that enhance machine efficiency and reliability.
- Keep the workshop and maintenance tools organised and in good condition.
Requirements
- OND or Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience maintaining furniture manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, edge banders, panel saws, spray booths, compressors, dust extraction systems, and woodworking machines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience maintaining furniture manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, edge banders, panel saws, spray booths, compressors, dust extraction systems, and woodworking machines.
