Arabic Language Expert - Remote
Join Alignerr as an Arabic Language Expert and leverage your fluency in Arabic to enhance AI systems. This role is designed for individuals passionate about language and culture, seeking to ensure that AI understands, generates, and communicates in Arabic with authenticity and precision.
About the Role
This is a fully remote, flexible contract position. No prior AI experience is necessary, but a strong command of the Arabic language and a keen eye for detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated Arabic translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness.
- Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, and cultural issues.
- Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Arabic.
- Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality.
- Work independently and asynchronously, managing your own schedule.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in Arabic.
- Strong written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Solid command of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) with awareness of regional usage.
- Detail-oriented, consistent, and self-motivated.
- No prior AI experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics.
- Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows.
- Knowledge of Arabic dialects across different regions (Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian, Maghrebi, etc.).
- Academic or professional background in Arabic language, literature, or communication.

Arabic proficiency required.
Statutory benefits (UAE)
Wage Protection System (WPS)
Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).
End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)
21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.
Annual leave
Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).
Sick leave
Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.
Health insurance
Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
